7th July. Plain Dealer. ‘Heavy ones on Herman Spero’s Upbeat Show tomorrow WEWS-TV will be… The Velvet Underground’

7th July. Cleveland Press and another radio appearance.

7th July. The Montreal Star discus a band influenced by the VU.

7th July. The Buffalo News. “New Hippie Nightclub…”

8th July. The Buffalo News has an interesting advert. “Best Selling LP Records” through 15 July 1967 – The Monkees, Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Bill Cosby….and the Velvet Underground and Nico!”… plus the Emerson Torso sticker can clearly be seen being advertised in July. The latter suggests that the withdrawal and reissue was far quicker than thought. This may also suggest why April and May were so quiet in relation to the album.

8th July. The Daily Breeze. The other, OTHER Velvet Underground – Ye Velvet Underground are looking for jobs.

9th July. The Detroit Free Press and more news on Andy’s Circus,

12th July – The Standard Times – VU Cancelations.

15th July – Arizona Republic. Clubs and VU.
